A quarterly book club featuring books about nature, adventure, and the environment.
Each meetup includes discussion questions and a guided group hike, offering a unique blend of literary discussion, mindfulness, and outdoor exploration. We’ll choose a book and have roughly 2-3 months read at our own pace, at our own time. We’ll meet up for a hike to discuss the themes and enjoy the nature that surrounds us.
Sunshine Hike & Read details:
20 min centering practice
Stretching/Movement
Queries about the book to think and talk about during the hike
Guided hike ranging from 3-3.5 miles
Snacks & stretch breaks throughout the hike
20 min cool down, final thoughts on the book

February -April - Everyone Knows but you by Thomas E. Ricks. Book club hike will take place on Saturday April 25th.
April-July - Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmer. Book club hike will take place on Saturday July 25th.
July- November - The Overstory by Richard Powers. Book club wikk take place on Saturday Nov. 21st.
